Firefox is a beloved Web browser than many people consider the most cutting-edge browser available. The browser is developed by the Mozilla Corporation and was introduced in 2004. The browser went through several names before it was rebranded as Firefox. Originally called Phoenix, it was briefly named Firebird before being changed to Mozilla Firefox. The browser is now commonly referred to as Firefox.
It is generally considered to be the number two Web browser, next to industry giant Internet Explorer. Since it was introduced, Firefox has steadily cut into the market share of Internet Explorer.
