There are lots of things we girls share with the boys like going to a nice restaurant or seeing a movie. But there are two areas where we part company: shopping for shoes and playing poker. The problem is we can really only shop for shoes during the day. When the boys get together to play poker it’s after the stores close which means we lose them for a night. Actually, that’s not a bad thing, but I wanted to see what all the fuss was about over this poker business. Look, I learned all about football for a guy I was seeing once and ended up loving the game. So maybe poker would be the same thing.
As with everything in my life, I turned to the Internet for a little research. All I had to do was Google poker and I was presented with thousands of options. I narrowed my search to first find out how to play the basics of the game. That was easy to pick up. I then decided to try a little online poker. I didn’t want to play for money (at least not right away). Luckily, I found plenty of online casinos that let me play poker for free and practice my game. Once I got confident I decide it was time to step away from the Internet and play in the real world. That meant calling up the girls!
At first they thought I was crazy, but once I convinced them to give it a try we had a blast. Our poker games became a regular thing so I took it to the next level and went shopping for customized poker tables. I found a site online with many styles to pick from. Now all the boys want to come play poker with us girls.
